Dealership IT Support Near You, in 30 Major Metros
One dealership-only IT team, from a Baltimore headquarters to stores in every corner of the country.
Last updated: October 8, 2026

Helion Technologies supports automotive and heavy truck dealerships nationwide from its Baltimore headquarters, including the 30 major metros listed on this page. Remote help answers in 82 seconds on average. Field technicians handle the hands-on work.
What “Near Me” Means for Dealership IT
When a dealer types dealership IT support near me, they’re rarely asking for a building down the street. They want somebody who picks up fast. Somebody who already knows the DMS, the F&I office, the OEM network requirements and the compliance rules that never come up at a law firm or a dentist’s office down the street.
That’s the job. Helion Technologies has done it since 1997 for automotive and heavy truck stores only, and the same team that answers for a single rooftop also answers for dealer groups with stores in several states.
- RemoteSupport specialists reach staff at the store or working from home.
- On siteField technicians go out for the problems that need hands.
- Around the clockNetworks, devices, servers and security alerts are watched 24/7.
Proximity is the old way to judge an IT company. Response time is the better one. So what does that look like across the whole map?
Start with the full list of services on our dealership technology services page, or jump to the hubs for automotive dealerships and heavy truck dealerships. Thirty metros, one team. Baltimore is home because every ticket lands with the same people there, and the orange dots on the map below mark metros where dealer groups have put their names on Helion’s work in public.

Close Enough Is a Response Time, Not a Mile Marker
Most problems at a dealership never need a truck roll. A locked-out salesperson, a printer that drops off the network in F&I, a Microsoft 365 login that looks wrong at 6 a.m. Those get fixed remotely, and the average wait to reach a live person is 82 seconds.
Some problems do need hands. A dead switch in the parts room. A new store going live after an acquisition. Field dispatch is included in the monthly number, along with after-hours and weekend coverage, so nobody at the store has to stop and do the math on whether a visit is worth the invoice before they call us.
Live help runs 6 a.m. to midnight Eastern, Monday through Saturday. Saturday matters. It’s the busiest sales day of the week at most stores. The day-to-day help desk is part of managed IT support for dealerships.

What 30 Years and 2,000+ Dealerships Looks Like
“If I ask my people how things are going with IT, they say they’re getting the phone answered or getting a call back within five minutes. And they’re talking to somebody that really gives a crap about them and their problem.”
Dealership IT Services by Metro
Every metro below gets the same help desk, the same security operations center, the same compliance program and the same short wait to reach a live person, wherever the store happens to sit on the map. What changes from city to city is the state law on top of the FTC Safeguards Rule, the number of franchised dealers competing for the same customers, and whether a Helion client already runs stores there.
Dealer counts are statewide, from NADA Data 2025.

State Law Changes the Work, Metro by Metro
The FTC Safeguards Rule applies to every franchised dealer in every state. That part never moves. State privacy law is a different story, and it’s where a Los Angeles store and an Atlanta store stop looking alike.
California’s CCPA exempts only the financing data a dealer holds under federal law, not the dealership itself, so the service drive’s customer records, the website’s lead forms and the marketing lists still fall under state rules. Minnesota works the same way. Connecticut joined them on July 1, 2026. Most other states with a privacy law, Texas, Virginia, Colorado and Maryland among them, exempt the dealership as a whole entity. Georgia, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio have no comprehensive law at all.
So a group with stores in three states can owe three different sets of rules, and our dealership compliance team tracks them state by state and folds them into one written program your managers can actually follow. If you’d like to read the laws yourself, the IAPP keeps a current state privacy legislation tracker, and the FTC answers dealer questions in its Safeguards Rule FAQ for auto dealers.
